Hi, I'm Max! Welcome to Solo RPG Studio!

I'm Max, and I created this website to share one of my favorite hobbies with you. As a passionate TTRPG enthusiast, I've been diving deep into the world of solo role-playing games for years, and I wanted to help other people discover and enjoy this amazing hobby.

What is Solo RPG?

Solo RPGs offer a unique perspective on traditional tabletop role-playing games, where you are playing as both the player and the game master. You are simultaneously building the world around you and playing in it.

I love solo RPGs because they offer different advantages from traditional group play. Don't get me wrong - I still enjoy playing TTRPGs with friends - but there's something intrinsically fun about solo RPGs. I can play whenever I want, for as long as I want, with whichever games I prefer and the rules that make me happy. Solo RPGs offer me a lot of freedom compared to coordinating schedules with a group. They're also a really good way for me to explore new games and test new systems before introducing them to my regular gaming group.

On this site, I'll mostly be sharing books and games I've played and enjoyed. I want to write honest reviews, but also share tips on how I play, including my current physical and digital setup. As someone who's tried countless systems and approaches, I hope my experiences can help you on your own solo RPG journey.
